Mack Rutherford, a 17-year-old aviator who’s about to beat the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD by becoming the youngest person to fly solo around the world, was at YHU Airport !
On 23 March 2022, he left Sofia, Bulgaria on his world record attempt that will take him across 5 continents and 52 countries. Yesterday, he arrived at HUB FBO – greeted by a water salute (courtesy of JR Bashan) and a crowd of happy supporters there to encourage him !
Thank you to everyone who was part of the special moment. Mack is a few days away from the end of his trip – join us in wishing him the best of luck for the remaining of this feat !
