COVID-19 Travel Guidelines

The current situation and the various customs and government laws might make travelling a little confusing at times… Which is why we’ve prepared a few guidelines to help you sort through the travel restrictions in order to arrive with confidence.

First off, find out if you can travel to Canada;

To limit the further spread of coronavirus in Canada, travel restrictions are in place across all ports of entry. To find out if you will be granted entry, you may answer a few questions directly on the Government of Canada website.

Plan your quarantine – Provide travel, contact and quarantine information;

All travellers who can enter the country are required to provide travel, contact and quarantine information upon and after entry into Canada. This is part of Canada’s efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and prevent importation.

Download the ArriveCAN mobile app;

All travellers, with limited exceptions, must use ArriveCAN. Travellers will need to submit the following information electronically before they board their flight :

  • travel and contact information

  • quarantine plan (unless exempted from the mandatory requirement to quarantine set out in the emergency order under the Quarantine Act)

  • COVID-19 symptom self-assessment

Once you submit your information through ArriveCAN, a receipt will be displayed and emailed to you. Show the receipt to a Canadian border services officer when you enter. You may show your ArriveCAN receipt from:

  • the app

  • as a screenshot

  • your email

  • a printout

For further information about travelling and entering Canada, visit the Governement of Canada website.

Together, we will ensure a smooth travel experience.
